Timothy Ryan Heverly, aged 66, of Haycock Township, passed away peacefully in his home on Friday, August 15, 2025, after a lengthy battle with lung cancer.
Born on November 3, 1958, in Quakertown, he was the son of the late George and Anna (Beck) Heverly.
He was the devoted husband of Carol (Courtney) Heverly, to whom he was married for thirty-four years; a loving father to his son: Tyler, husband to Sara (Linke) Heverly; and daughter: Courtney, wife to Tyler James; and a proud grandfather to Wyatt and Alice Heverly.
Known as Tim, he was a skilled welder by profession, having learned the trade from his father George in his welding shop when he was twelve-years-old. Tim was employed by numerous welding companies throughout his career, beginning with Electro Space Fabricators in Topton, Pennsylvania, in 1978. In 1980, he joined Hope X-Ray Products in Willow Grove, Pennsylvania. He concluded his career at Elkay Manufacturing in Sellersville, Pennsylvania. Additionally, Tim operated his own welding business at his residence, under the name T.R. Heverly Welding.
In his personal pursuits, Tim enjoyed skiing and would travel annually to the Rocky Mountains during the winter months to ski with his friends. He was a co-founder of the Quakertown Slow-Pitch Softball League at the North Penn Gun Club and served as an officer for many years. Tim held a deep affection for Tioga County, Pennsylvania, where he owned a cabin and enjoyed hunting and trout fishing with his son and friends. He cherished vacationing there with his family, and creating lasting memories.
