Sr. Messina, Peter F.

Peter F. Messina, Sr., 76, of Perkasie died March 9, 2012. Husband of Nancy (Daneker) Messina for 54 years. Born in Bethlehem to the late Vincent and Mary (Denicola) Messina. His parents came to the U.S. from Italy and Pete was extremely proud of his Italian Heritage. He was an avid hunter, and enjoyed being out in his garage, especially making picnic tables. Pete served in the army from 1954-1962. In addition to his wife he is survived by son Pete, Jr., and daughters Donna Messina and Denna Brant wife of Mike. Pop Pop Pete will also be greatly missed by grandchildren Pete, III, Mike, Jenna, Brianne, and Shavonna Messina, Britny Wismer, and Lora and Michael Brant. Great grandsons Jalen Messina and Nathan Freed. Sisters, Carmela Claroni, Gloria Corina, Dolores Novak, and Mae Dorwood. Predeceased by brother Horace and sister Rose Ronca. Services will be private.
