Ruth Marie Reichard

Ruth M. Reichard, 79, of Center Valley, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, May 9, 2026, at St. Luke’s Fountain Hill Campus.

Born on February 9, 1947, in Quakertown, she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Elsie (Diehl) Bomboy.

A graduate of Southern Lehigh High School, she entered the workforce and began a lengthy career as an administrative assistant. Throughout her career, she worked for various entities including Fretz and Fretz, Allentown College, and Bethlehem Steel.

In her free time, she found joy in cross-stitching, completing crossword puzzles, watching General Hospital (possibly their biggest fan) or Lifetime movies, and spending time with her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother: Craig Bomboy.

Ruth will be lovingly remembered by her husband of fifty-three years: Joseph F. Reichard, to whom she wed in March of 1973; son: Doug Reichard (Ashley); daughter: Katie Kinyon (Ted); sister: Phylis Vogel (Dale); sister-in-law: Paula Bomboy; and grandchildren: Jack Kinyon, Cooper Reichard, Teddy Kinyon, Danny Kinyon, Lillian Kinyon, and Joey Reichard.

A visitation will be held at the C.R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc., 821 West Broad Street, Quakertown, on Friday, June 5, 2026, from 2:00pm until 4:00pm.

Private interment will be in St. James Woodland Cemetery.
