Richard L. Miller, Sr.

Richard L. Miller, Sr., 85, of Richland Township, passed away on Thursday, October 22, 2026, at Phoebe—Richland.

Born on July 28, 1941, in Milford Township, he was the son of the late Lester and Mary Viola (Kline) Miller.

Following his formal education, he entered the workforce. He spent forty years with SKS, formerly Nice Ball Bearing, retiring in 2006.

Outside of work, he found joy in fishing, hunting, working on his car (1953 Ford), as well as assembling model cars.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother-in-law: Gerald Schoch.

Richard will be lovingly remembered by his wife of sixty-two years: LizzieAnn (Gerhard) Miller; sons: Richard Miller, Jr. (Kerry) and Larry Miller (Kim); daughters: Carol Kane (Andrew) and Tracy Badman (Ronald); sister: Grace Schoch; grandchildren: Rachel Vega (Tito), Lauren Horgan (Liam), and Michael Kane; and great-grandchildren: Kailey Vega, Carlee Vega, Amber Horgan, Steven Horgan, and Valarie Horgan.

A viewing will be held at the C.R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc., 821 West Broad Street, Quakertown, on Wednesday, October 28, 2026, from 10:00am until the time of the funeral service—in the funeral home—at 11:00am.

Interment will follow in St. John’s Lutheran Church Cemetery, Spinnerstown.
