Mary Fell, 86, of Quakertown, passed away on Monday, August 17, 2026, at LifeQuest Nursing Center.
Born on June 13, 1940, in Sellersville, she was a daughter of Norman F. Mangal and Florence C. (Kramer) Williams.
She attended Pennridge High School. She went on to spend numerous years as a glass cutter and a quality inspector with Artistic Glass in Trumbauersville.
Outside of work, Mary found great joy in spending time with her family. She loved playing cards and games with many family memories being made gathered around her kitchen table. Each year, she hosted a beloved cookie exchange at her home, bringing together women of the family to share cookies and enjoy one another’s company.
Mary was an impeccable seamstress and talented quilter who used her skills both for her family and to care for others. Over the years, she made clothing for her children and even made a wedding gown for one of her sisters-in-law. She made comforters through West Swamp Mennonite Church in Quakertown that were sent to people affected by disasters throughout the United States and in other countries. She also crocheted hats for cancer patients and made huggable pillows for patients recovering from operations. She enjoyed ceramics as well as traveling, and in her younger years, she served as Den Mother for the Cub Scouts.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of sixty-four years: Harry A. Fell, Jr.; sister: Patricia Markowski; and sisters-in-law: Sara Godshall and Alice Leister.
Mary will be lovingly remembered by her sons: Kenneth (Vicki), Kerry, and Kirk (Anna) Fell; brother: Robert Moyer (Tammy); sisters: Kris Brown, Darlene Sutherland, and Carol Long; sisters-in-law: Barbara Rush, Betty Wambold, Millie McCloskey, Natalie Weimer, and Karen Wampole; grandchildren: Eric, Rachelle, Nichole, Nathan, Natasha, Narissa, Nicholas, Asia, and Josh; great-grandchildren: Britney, Kayse, Gavin, Liliana, Sophia, Addison, Blake, Bryce, Micaha, Araya, and Amelia; and great-great-grandchildren: Peyton, Santino, and Rocco.
A viewing will be held at the C.R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc., 821 West Broad Street, Quakertown, on Thursday, August 27, 2026, from 2:00pm until the time of the funeral service—in the funeral home—at 3:00pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made, in Mary’s memory, to the Dementia Society of America, PO Box 600, Doylestown, PA 18901.
