Marian C. McNevin

Marian C. McNevin, 84, of Quakertown, passed away on Sunday, July 5, 2026, at Phoebe—Richland.

Born on August 10, 1941, in Philadelphia, she was a daughter of the late James and Marian K. (Yost) Balderman.

Following her formal education, she spent time as a waitress in the 1960s, then went on to work part-time for Woolworth’s.

Outside of work, she took joy in creating wedding cakes, ceramics, completing paint-by-numbers scenes, knitting, as well as playing bingo.

She was a long-time member of St. Isidore’s Catholic Church, Quakertown.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a son: Timothy McNevin, who passed away in 2022; brothers: Louis Balderman, James Balderman, Jr., and William Balderman; sister: Anna Kimmel; and son-in-law: Javier Rojo.

Marian will be lovingly remembered by her sons: Charles McNevin (Lorraine) and Daniel McNevin (Donna); daughters: Patricia Sharp (Joseph), Theresa Pauli, and Helen (Faith) Rojo; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A viewing will be held at the C.R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc., 821 West Broad Street, Quakertown, on Friday, July 17, 2026, from 10:00AM until the time of the funeral service--in the funeral home--at 11:00AM.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made, in Marian’s memory, to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or the Bucks County SPCA.
