Marian C. Herman

Marian C. Herman, 92, of Springfield Township, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, September 19, 2026.

Born on March 24, 1934, in Milford Township, she was a daughter of the late Frank Z. and Hester (Cassel) Greaser.

Following her formal education, Marian began working alongside her grandmother in a sewing factory—a job she maintained until her marriage to her late husband, John S. Herman, on November 10, 1962.

A skilled homemaker, Marian enjoyed cooking, baking, and gardening. She loved taking daytrips with her children during their youth, then later with her husband following his retirement. In her later years, she found joy in spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband: John S. Herman, who passed away in 2007; son: Douglas J. Herman, who passed away as an infant in 1963; two grandchildren: Alicia R. Brugger and Douglas T. Raffaele; brothers: Frank, Kenny, Claude, and Ernie Greaser; and one sister: Mary Fluck.

Marian will be lovingly remembered by her daughters: Mary A. Herman-Perry (Joe) and Nancy L. Yoder; son: Bruce D. Herman; sisters: Ruth Moyer and Dorothy Detweiler; and great-grandchildren: Hailey and Lily Brugger.

A visitation will be held at Chestnut Hill Church, 6870 Chestnut Hill Church Road, Coopersburg, PA 18036, on Friday, September 25, 2026, from 10:00am until the time of the funeral service—in church—at 11:00am.

Interment will follow in the parish cemetery.
