Lily Jean Michelfelder

Lily Jean Michelfelder, 19, of Quakertown, passed away unexpectedly in the Emergency Department at Windham Hospital in Willimantic, Connecticut.

Born on May 30, 2006, at Grandview Hospital in Sellersville, she was a daughter of Erwin D. and Susan J. (Irwin) Michelfelder, Jr.

A graduate of Quakertown High School’s Class of 2024, she was accepted to the University of Connecticut where she was currently in her sophomore year, pursing a degree in dietetics.

She was a young lady filled with joy who possessed eclectic interests. In high school, she played the flute with the school band. During her free time, she was an avid practitioner of Yoga, enjoyed art, crocheted, was a fan of KPop music, and loved attending music concerts with her best friend.

In addition to her parents, Lily will be lovingly remembered by her brother: William Michelfelder; sisters: Shannon and Maggie Michelfelder; paternal grandparents: Erwin and Roberta Michelfelder, Sr.; maternal grandparents: Bonnie Reynolds and James Irwin (Maureen); and her uncle: Jimmy Irwin.

A visitation will be held at the C.R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc., 821 West Broad Street, Quakertown, on Thursday, April 30, 2026, from 11:00am until the time of the service—in the funeral home—at 1:00pm.
