Lavenia E. Salmosan, 65, of Quakertown, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by family and friends on Monday, May 25, 2026. She was originally from Port Murray, New Jersey was the longest previous residence.

Born on August 25, 1960, in Plainfield, New Jersey, she was the daughter of that late Robert E. and Lavenia (Ader) Quagliato, Sr. Was raised and grew up in Cranford, New Jersey.

A graduate of David Brearley High School Class of 1978, in Kenilworth New Jersey, Lavenia entered the workforce.  Immediately following graduation, she began as a secretary for the Schering and Plough Corporation. She later moved into a position as a Claims Associate with Wal-Mart in Hackettstown, New Jersey.

Outside of work, she found great joy in entertaining—picnics, parties, and other family gatherings, whether hosted at home or an outside venue like Spruce Run Reservoir. Lavenia also had a love of animals, which would take her to Lancaster to admire the beautiful horses and their carriages, when not home with her loving grand-dogs. She also enjoyed the quieter times that would include Sitting outside on her front porch enjoying the peaceful surroundings, Puzzles, Monopoly, Spades and Cooking, Baking, making dog cookies for her grand-dogs, Sunday Night Football cheering on her Cowboys (Cowgirls), visiting Seaside Heights, as well as Lucky Leo’s Arcade.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her mother’s companion of thirty years: Edom Marshall; and Three grand-dogs: Sandi, Jasper and Jewels.

Lavenia will be lovingly remembered by her husband of forty-two years: George Salmosan, II, to whom she wed on August 6, 1983; daughter: Tara Salmosan (Breanna C. Shearer); son: Jeremy Salmosan (Elisha Seguine); brothers: Robert E. Quagliato, Jr. (Lois) and Mark M. Quagliato; aunt: Melinda Fluper; Sister-in-law Donna Stokes (Omar Cauthen) nephew:Angelo Cuevas (Tricia Pastic), Pedro E. Perez (Joyce Brunert),Cody Quagliato. niece: Dixie Cuevas, Cori Ciambrone (JoeCiambrone); Family/Friends Philip Urbanski (KaitlinUrbanski) and grand-dogs: Bella, Lilly, and Diamond; and beloved cat: Tizzy.

Services will be private.
