Juana G. Umanzopr

Juana G. Umanzor, 77, of Quakertown, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at Quakertown Center.

Born on November 9, 1948, in San Pedro, Honduras, she was a daughter of the late Teoflio Umanzor and Maria G. Aguilar.

Following her secondary education in Honduras, she went on to receive a Bachelor of Science in Medical Forensics. She spent a decade working for the area’s Medical Examiner.

Juana found joy in plants and flowers, as well as music and singing.

With a family-first mindset and a way of making others feel comfortable, she loved spending time with her family and friends.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a brother: Reinaldo Umanzor; and two sisters: Teresa and Sonia Umanzor.

Juana will be lovingly remembered by her daughter: Jenny Lara Umanzor; son: Rigoberto Lara (Victoria Ferrera-Lara); brothers: Junior, Guillermo, Fernando, and Jose Umanzor; sisters: Liberty and Gillermina Umanzor; and grandchildren: Christopher, Fabian, Sabastian, and Vivienne Lara.

A viewing will be held at the C.R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc., 821 West Broad Street, Quakertown, on Sunday, May 31, 2026, from 3:00pm until 5:00pm. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Monday, June 1, 2026, at 2:00pm.

Interment will follow in Jerusalem Union Cemetery, Almont.
