John S. Lustig

November 11, 1955 — July 9, 2022

Obituary John S. Lustig, 66, of Bethlehem formerly of Quakertown died July 9, 2022 in Einstein Medical Center, Philadelphia. He was the husband of Krisann J. Drust-Lustig. Born in Philadelphia he was the son of the late Hans "John" & Julie (Lytwyn) Lustig. He was the owner operator of Johnnie Lustig Hotdogs, LLC., which was located in Bethlehem PA. Prior to that he was employed as an inspector for the USDA and owner/operator of the former John Lustig Meats in Quakertown. A brief position was with the Clemens Food Group, which is known locally as Hatfield. He enjoyed attending seminars on Halal Slaughter and cultural intervention of all persons both American and European. He was a 1978 graduate from Syracuse University receiving a BA in Business Management. While at Syracuse his senior year he was President of Fiji Fraternity and to this day he was a proud Alumni of the University and an avid fan of their sports team. John enjoyed skiing, walking/hiking and playing golf and running behind his wife, Krisann as she participated in amateur running races with his camera. He had an enormous collection of designer clothing and shoes, which he enjoyed wearing while attending many events, socializing with family and friends. His phrase, "He who dies with the most friends wins", was without a doubt, very true to form. Definitely a "Sharp Dressed Man".
