John R. Sharrard

John R. Sharrard of Trumbauersville, formerly of Maidstone, England, died September 12th at Grand View Hospital in Sellersville. He was the husband of Elizabeth (Gale) Sharrard with whom he celebrated 19 years of marriage last October. Prior to his retirement, John worked as an engineer for Rolls Royce in England and more recently for F.C. Kerbeck in Philadelphia and John Palmer in Haddon Heights, New Jersey. Born in Brighton, England, he was the son of the late Herbert and Ivy (Noakes) Sharrard. John enjoyed fishing with his daughter, repairing clocks, and taking long walks in Coventry Park in England. In addition to his wife, John is survived by a son John and his wife Debbie; two daughters - Sarah and Bridie; a brother Peter, and four grandchildren - Leih, Jack, Evie, and Taylon. John was predeceased by two sisters - Joyce and Joan. A private memorial service will be held by the family at a later date. Cremation services were arranged by C.R.
