John David Cave

John D. Cave, 69, of Quakertown, passed away on Sunday, July 12, 2026, in his home.

Born on November 26, 1956, in Lansdale, he was a son of the late Peter and Margaret (Janke) Cave.

A graduate of North Penn High School’s Class of 1975, John went on to enter the workforce. He spent his working years as an arborist and landscaper.

Outside of work, he found joy in Classic Rock Music, riding motorcycles, hunting, and fishing.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers: Gerald and Robert Cave.

John will be lovingly remembered by his wife of forty years: Sharon (Cope) Cave, to whom he wed on November 16, 1985; daughter: Alicia Martin (Nick); son: Joseph Cave; sister: Elaine Croak (Rick); sister-in-law: Christine Palladino (Richard); brother-in-law: Angel Ortega (Dawn); mother-in-law: Dolores Ortega; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

A viewing will be held at the C.R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc., 821 West Broad Street, Quakertown, on Friday, July 17, 2026, from 2:00pm until the time of the service—in the funeral home—at 3:00pm.

Interment will follow in Zion Hill Cemetery.
