Obituary Joanne J. Freed, 59, of Sellersville, Pa died September 20, 2022, in Grand View Hospital, Sellersville. She was the wife of Michael S. Freed. They were married 38 years last June. Born in Sellersville, PA she was the daughter of Mary (Radick) Hafler of Sellersville and the late Donald H. Hafler. She retired April 30, 2021 as a Mail Carrier for Sellersville Post Office. Joanne enjoyed bird watching, gardening, puzzles, and the beach. Most important to her was her loving family. In addition to her husband and mother she is survived by her four children Eric Michael Freed (Jillian) of Quakertown; Jennifer Freed (Andrew Fechter) of Hilltown; Jason L. Freed (Carolyn Rizza) of Plainsboro, New Jersey; and Justine Freed of Philadelphia. Her three siblings Carol M. Critelli of Sellersville; Donald Hafler, Jr. (Linda) of Richland Township; and Diane Hammer (John) of Emmaus. Two grandchildren Chase & Ciera. She is also survived by her mother and father-in-law Lincoln & Nita (Moyer) Freed. Memorial Services will be held on Tuesday, September 27, 2022, at 4:00 P.M. in the C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc. (www.crstrunk.com) 821 W. Broad St. Quakertown, PA 18951. Calling hour will be held from 3:00-4:00 P.M. in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105-1942.
