Joan D. Carper

Joan Dorothy Carper passed away peacefully on July 15, 2026, in Sellersville, at the age of 90.

Born August 10, 1935, in Fountain Hill, PA, Joan was a 1953 graduate of Fountain Hill High School, where she was Class Valedictorian and recognized by classmates as “Best Natured,” “Most Popular,” and “Best All Around.”

She was formerly of Quakertown and Melbourne Florida.

Joan married Ronald Frederick Carper in 1957, sharing 57 years together.

Joan dedicated many years of her life to raising her family, working as a special education assistant, and enjoyed her passion for adorable dogs, and golf.

Loved and missed by all, she is survived by a daughter: Carol Reither (Richard); sons: Ronald Carper, Jr. (Ruth) and Thomas Carper (Rachel); and four grandchildren: Elizabeth, Maggie, Samuel, and Ian.

Services will be private.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the American Heart Association and research organizations aimed to cure Alzheimer’s Disease.

Arrangements are in the care of the C.R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc., Quakertown.
