Joan L. Palm

Joan L. Palm, 94, of Quakertown, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 31, 2026, at The Villages at Life Quest.

Born on April 29, 1932, in Souderton, she was a daughter of the late Alfred S. and Catherine (Shoemaker) Kulp.

A graduate of Souderton High School, Joan ran a successful antiques business, which had a storefront in Applebachsville, for over twenty years.

Outside of work, she found joy in spending time with her family, reading, as well as tending to her pool. Her family was her pride and joy. She was a wonderful wife, mother, aunt, grandmother and great-grand mother.

She was a member of St. Matthew's Lutheran Church.

In addition to her parents, Joan is preceded in death by her husband: Vernon Palm, who died on May 16, 2024; a son: Vernon Palm, Jr.; and her sister: Ann Kingsbauer.

Joan will be lovingly remembered by her sons: Gregory B. Palm (Florina) and Bradley Palm (Tricia); grandchildren: Bradley C. Palm (Andrea), Katie Palm, Andrew Palm, and Eric Neagu; and six great-grandchildren.

A visitation will be held at the C.R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc., 821 West Broad Street, Quakertown, on Saturday, December 12, 2026, from 10:00am until the time of the service-in the funeral home-at 11:00am.
