Joan Hazel Franks

Joan H. Franks, 86, of Pocono Pines, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 2, 2026, surrounded by her family.

Born on December 16, 1939, in Hollisterville, PA, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Ellenor (Moore) Skelton.

Joan married her late husband, John R. Franks Jr., in June 1961, who passed away in April 2016.

Joan was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who cared deeply for her family. She enjoyed working in her flower gardens and camping with her family.

Joan will be lovingly remembered by her son: John Franks (Annie); daughters: Kim Franks and Yvonne Yankelitis (David); grandchildren: Tyler Franks (Kelsy), Tanner Franks, Courtney Parrish (Kyle), Casey Malenovitch (Brennan), Danielle D'Adamo (Mark); and great-grandchildren: Olivia Franks, Trace Franks, Leigha Malenovitch, Mark D'Adamo, III, and Bryce D'Adamo.

Services will be private.

Arrangements are in the care of the C.R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc., Quakertown.
