Jean A. Moran

Jean A. Moran, 85 of Quakertown passed away in Quakertown Center on Monday April 27, 2026.

Born on March 3, 1941, in Quakertown, she was the daughter of the late George W. & Naomi (Huber) Horne.

An alumna of Quakertown High School and Allentown Nursing School. Her passion lied in working with geriatric patients in nursing homes and the disabled in group homes.

Jean enjoyed plants, gardening, art, animals, continuous education, lifelong learning and being in the sun at the beach. Also, she was jokingly a member of Sine’s 5 & 10.

She will be dearly missed by her daughter Andrea Doucette (Timothy) and her son Jeffrey Moran; a brother George Horne, Jr. (Sandy). Two grandchildren Jamie Bednar and Natasha Doucette; two step grandchildren Rani Doucette and Keith Doucette (Brooke); three great grandchildren Dyllon Harp, Isabella Harp, and Olivia Bednar; and one step great grandchild Everly Doucette.
