Harriet Butcher

Harriet Butcher, Allentown, died August 25, 2009 in her daughter's home in Schwenksville. She was 68. Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Samuel & Betsy (Whitmore) Cohen. Harriet enjoyed the time she spent with children as a school bus driver for First Student, Inc. in Colmar. Harriet loved animals, especially her dogs. She is survived by six sons - George and his wife Nancy, Michael and his wife Gina, Steven and his wife Janice, Albert, Samuel and his wife Valerie and Matthew and his wife Christina; a daughter Harriet and her husband John; a sister Shirley; eighteen grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a brother Gerald. Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, August 29th at 11:00 A.M. in the C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc. (www.crstrunk.com) 821 W. Broad St. Quakertown.
