Harl L. Clugston

Harl L. Clugston , 86 , formerly of Center Valley , PA , where he resided on Vera Cruz Road for 33 years died October 18, 2016 at Quakertown Center. Born in Jackson Township , Perry County , PA , he was one of 14 children born to the late Jesse James & Alice Jane (Doyle) Clugston. He was employed as a machine mechanic for Spinlon Industries in Quakertown for 28 years before his retirement . He was an avid fisherman and hunter his entire life . He is survived by son Mark L. Clugston and his wife Sheri of Souderton , son Jeffrey S. Clugston of Emmaus , daughter Lisa A. Mertz and her husband David of Coopersburg , brother Paul Clugston of Horsham , sister Velva Drawbaugh and her husband John of Newville, PA , four grandchildren and one great grandchild . He was predeceased by 11 siblings , one of which was his identical twin brother , Carl . Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are being handled by the C. R.
