Dennis J. Schwartz

Dennis J. Schwartz, 71, of Red Hill and formerly of Quakertown, passed away unexpectedly in the operating room at St. Luke’s Hospital’s Fountain Hill Campus.

Born on July 31, 1954, in Quakertown, he was a son of the late Harry and Blanche (Landis) Schwartz.

Following his formal education, he entered the workforce as a laborer. Prior to his retirement, he spent fifteen years with Clemmer Moving and Storage.

Dennis found joy in fishing, watching Old Westerns, and going to races at Maple Grove Raceway.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a son: Dennis Schwartz, Jr.; five brothers: Harry, Jr., Jerry, Larry, Ricky, Sr., and Barry Schwartz; and sister: Goldie Kramer.

Dennis is survived by his sons: Joseph, Andrew, and Timmy Schwartz; daughter: Angie Schwartz; grandchildren; brothers: Brian Schwartz (Angie) and Randy Schwartz; sisters: Linda Gerstenberg and Penny Schwartz; as well as nieces and nephews.

A viewing will be held at the C.R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc., 821 West Broad Street, Quakertown, on Saturday, May 23, 2026, from 10:00am until the time of the funeral services—in the funeral home—at 11:00am.

Interment will follow in Quakertown Union Cemetery.
