David Mininger

David Mininger, 72, of Quakertown, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on Monday, October 12, 2026, at St. Luke's Hospital's Upper Bucks Campus.

Born on October 28, 1953, in Quakertown, he was a son of the late Raymond S. and Emma F. (Trauger) Mininger.

A graduate of Quakertown High School's Class of 1972, Dave worked at Pantry Pride and then became a laborer at Old Castle Concrete, where he remained for twenty-three-and-a-half years. He then moved into a custodial position, until retirement, with the Quakertown Community School District.

Described as a simple, easy going, kind hearted man, Dave enjoyed a quieter life hunting in his younger years, keeping a well-maintained yard (that no one was able to cut), the companionship of dogs, spending time with his family, and following his grandchildren's activities. He also enjoyed feeding all creatures: From cooking for his family on Sunday mornings to feeding squirrels and birds, nobody went hungry under Dave's care.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother: Stanley Mininger; and sister: Marion Clymer.

Dave will be lovingly remembered by his forever-love: Deborah Mininger; son: David J. Mininger (Shannon); daughters: Ashley Conaway (Kyle) and Kaitlin Urbanski (Philip); and grandchildren: Emma Mininger, David Mininger, Kason Conaway, Nina Conaway, and Dillon Urbanski. He is also survived by his sister Ruth Mindler (Paul).

A visitation will be held at the C.R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc., 821 West Broad Street, Quakertown, on Friday, October 23, 2026, from 11:00am until the time of the funeral service-in the funeral home-at 12:00 noon.

In lieu of flowers, and to honor Dave's love of dogs, donations may be made, in David's Memory, to the Last Chance Ranch, P.O. Box 1009, Quakertown, PA 18951.
