Craig D. Bilger, Sr., 71, of Phoenixville and formerly of Quakertown, passed away on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, at Phoenixville Hospital.
Born on March 28, 1955, in Sellersville, he was the son of the late Mervyn and Janet (Jordan) Bilger.
Following his formal education, Craig spent his working years in the automotive industry. He most recently served as a Roadman for Hatfield Auto.
Outside of work, he found joy in riding Harley motorcycles, fishing, and completing word/search puzzles.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his first wife: Barbara (Brown) Bilger, who passed away in 1997; and his son: Craig Bilger, Jr., who passed away in 2013.
Craig will be lovingly remembered by his wife of twenty-one years: Lorraine (Guyer) Bilger; daughter: Barbara Hoessler; step-son: Peter Wisely, Jr.; step-daughter: Lauren Wisely; sister: Denise Gouchenouer; grandchildren: Autumn Bilger, Christopher, Matthew, and Kaitlyn Hoessler; seven step-grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
A viewing will be held at the C.R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc., 821 West Broad Street, Quakertown, on Saturday, May 9, 2026, from 1:00pm until the time of the funeral service—in the funeral home—at 2:00pm.
Interment will follow in Grace Evangelical Lutheran Cemetery, Hatfield.
