Cheryl Ann Smakula

Cheryl Ann Smakula, 53, of Souderton died October 17, 2012 in St. Luke's Hospice House, Bethlehem. She was the wife of David M. Smakula. They were united on July 1, 1978. Born in Quakertown daughter of Kermit Delong of New Tripoli and Helen (Hillegas) Delong of Quakertown. She worked in Quality control for Pittman Motors in Harleysville, Pa. In addition to her husband and parents she is survived by a son David M. and his wife Danielle of Harleysville, and a daughter Tanya L. and her companion Richard Ferguson of Hilltown. A brother Brian Delong (Nicole) of Coopersburg, and a sister Michelle Lonetti (Ralph) of Quakertown. Eight grandchildren Kaylee, Jacob, Christian, Jayden, Cayla, Johannah, Jonathan, and Julianna. Also, many nieces and nephews. Services will be held on Tuesday, October 23, at 11:00 A.M. in the C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc. (www.crstrunk.com) 821 W. Broad St. Quakertown, Pa 18951.
