Charles Russell Trommer, Jr., 58, of Quakertown, passed away at home on Monday, May 25, 2026, surrounded by family.
Born on November 22, 1967, in Meadowbrook, PA, he was the son of the late Charles R. and Jane E. (DiGiloramo) Trommer, Sr.
A graduate of Upper Moreland High School, Charles went on to become a second-generation employee for a blacktop plantwhere he remained for thirty-four years.
Outside of work, he was a train enthusiast (particularly steam locomotives) and collector. He also enjoyed heavy machinery, Chevy cars and trucks, WWE wrestling, and watching the Philadelphia Eagles. Above all, though, he loved spending time with his family.
Charles will be lovingly remembered by his wife of thirty years: Diane (Bates) Trommer, with whom he celebrated their wedding anniversary on March 9; son: Charles R. Trommer, III; daughters: Bryanna Trommer (Vinny) and Shannon Trommer; brother-in-law: Bruce Bates; grandchildren: Gianna, Arabella, Liam, and Lily; nephews: Austin and Brandon; niece: Kristina; several cousins; and his beloved dogs: Gracie and Chloe.
Services will be private.
Arrangements are in the care of the C.R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc., Quakertown.
