Bruce B. Baringer, 72, of Quakertown, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, April 3, 2026, at his home.
Born on February 2, 1954, in Quakertown, he was a son of the late Warren Walter and Mary Augustine (Uczen) Baringer.
A talented machinist, Bruce spent nearly thirty years with Valley Precision. Before his retirement, he served as a ground’s person, for ten years, in the Blacktop Division at Eureka Stone Quarry.
Outside of work, he could often be found outdoors on the Saucon Rail Trail or in his yard mowing grass, crushing rock, or cutting down trees. He was mechanically inclined and enjoyed the sometimes-challenging task or repairing things around his house, vintage cars—or simply helping others.
Above all, Bruce was a loving family man. His wife was his best friend. He adored his grandchildren and spent many hours playing with them—like he was a kid himself. There was never a question of his love, as he always made sure family left his presence with a hug and kiss goodbye, followed by an “I love you.”
He was a longtime member of Jehovah’s Witness Zion Hill Congregation.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister: Mary Ann Stull; and a brother: Warren Baringer, Jr.
Bruce will be lovingly remembered by his wife of forty-two years: Linda (Sabo) Baringer, to whom he wed in July 1983; son: Matthew Baringer (Amber); daughters: Alyssa Baringer (Evan Foss) and Vicky Cole; brother: Gary Baringer (Claudette); brother-in-law: Leon Stull; and his grandchildren: Madelyn, Levi, Alaina, Brianna, and Abigail.
Services will be announced at a later date. Please check the funeral home’s website for updates.
Arrangements are in the care of the C.R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc., Quakertown.
