Obituary On the morning of March 25, 2018, the lights dimmed as the world was robbed of a beautiful, gentle and loving soul. Alex Haff, born December 9, 1966 in Philadelphia 51 years ago, died after a lifelong battle with addiction. He is survived by his parents, Barbara Gelzunas Haff and Alex Haff, his sisters, Pamela Haff and Lauren Haff Leithead (Timothy), his niece Cailin Hope, and his nephew Duncan Alexander, and multiple cousins. He is also survived by his beloved daughters, Cassandra Elizabeth (25) and Sarah Anne (20) and finally his animal family Tucker, his cat and Buddy, his dog. Alex eventually married his childhood sweetheart Robin and they brought into the world their two most cherished gifts, Cassandra and Sarah. After having worked in the automotive industry most of his life, his love of animals finally led him to his calling and current job at the Lehigh County Humane Society in Allentown, PA. Blessed with an excess of compassion and a rapier wit, Alex was loved and will be missed by many. He had a unique capacity for touching peoples lives during just a brief encounter. Alexs family asks that, if you can, please bring a picture and/or upload to this website. His family will be receiving friends and family at a memorial gathering celebrating Alexs life at West End Fire Hall, 1319 Park Avenue, Quakertown, Saturday, March 31st between 11:00-2:00.
