James A. Kratzer, 90, of Quakertown died November 29, 2009 in LifeQuest Nursing Center, Milford Twp. He was the husband of the late Irene (Erney) Kratzer. Born in Quakertown he was the son of the late Elwood & Bertha (Yost) Kratzer. He worked in the Janitorial Department of the U.S. Gauge/Ametek Division in Sellersville before retiring. He was a lifetime member of the Trumbauersville Fire Co. James was a former member of the Quakertown Assembly of God now Morning Star Fellowship in Quakertown. Survived by his children Kenneth and his wife Maryann of Bethlehem, Jean Kutt and her husband Chester of Troy, PA., David and his wife Linda of Sellersville, and Frederick and his wife Leane of Quakertown. A brother Charlie and a sister Beatrice. 13 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. A calling hour will be held on Saturday, December 5th from 9:00-10:00 A.M. in the C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc. (www.crstrunk.com) 821 W. Broad St. Quakertown, PA., followed by a graveside service at Chestnut Hill Cemetery in Coopersburg.
