David R. Maugle

David R. Maugle, 85, of Quakertown died July 23, 2010 in Genesis Health Care Quakertown Center. He was the husband of Peggy (West) Maugle. They were married 57 years in February. Born in Quakertown he was the son of the late David S. & Edna (Hillegas) Maugle. David retired as an Engineer for the U.S. Gauge Ametek Division in Sellersville after 42 years of service. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran serving during WW II in the Pacific Theatre. In addition to his wife he is survived by a daughter Jan M. Schaeffer, two sons David J. and his wife Heidimarie K., and Richard J. and his wife Valerie W. Four grandchildren Tara Schaeffer, John R. Schaeffer, II, Krista Kirsch, and Nicole Maugle.
