Tommy was such a cute, full of life, giggly little guy when he was young. He had a wonderful sense of humor and loved to tease. It was fun and my honor to watch him grow up into a caring, giving, intellegent young man. He tried so hard to beat this horrible thing, he died way too early. Tommy, I will miss seeing you and laughing at your teasing. I am very sad that I won't be able to watch you become the remarkable adult you would have been. Love you.

Jo andTom,
I am so deeply sorry for your loss. The love you had for Tommy was palpable each time you spoke of him. You could not have been more loving and supportive parents. It is so brave of you to post how he passed. This is such a terrible problem that can affect anyone...even the most successful, intelligent, and loving souls. I pray that your family finds peace and that Tommy's story can help others seek help and fight this epidemic. Love to all of you.

Mr. and Mrs. Miller, I'm so sorry for your loss. I knew Tom at GeoBlue, and experienced his developer talent first hand! We were so saddened to hear of his passing. Tom was so smart, polite, and a joy to work with--his demons were so well hidden. This loss has changed the way I think about this crisis--thank you for being willing to share his story. God's grace to you in the days, weeks, and months to come.

Joanne, Tom and Danny,
I don't have the words you need to hear; but I hope you find some peace in knowing that you have friends praying for you and thinking of you during this time. It was very encouraging to read what you wrote about Tommy and the problems he encountered. I'm sorry that he had to go through such an ordeal. I have fond memories of Tommy as I watched him grow up through the years at St. Isidore's with the boys!
Tommy you will be missed! Rest easy, you have no more pain.

Joanne, Tom and Danny,
I cannot begin to express sadness. I know Alex and Anthony were stunned to hear of Tommy's passing. He was a great kid and I'm sure a very special man. I will always remember him from the 3 year old program at the Y and up to the great young man I last saw. He will truly be missed by so many. With love and prayers, Carol

Dear Miller Family,
I worked with Tom for the last 3 or 4 years at Co-opprovider of services in the capacity of both a staff person and as administrative staff. He was fun, polite and always had a smile on his face. I did not realize how much he hated spiders until one night after a meeting we were outside of the house and sitting on the front porch after working late. I turned to him and said, "hey I think there is a small spider on your shirt!" He kept shouting "where" and looking down at his shirt ready to slap it away. As it turned out, I was not wearing my glasses and it was just a small hole in his T-Shirt. We always laughed about that. He hid his addiction well and he was always prepared and the first to help out when a computer problem arose. Thank you for sharing this dreadful disease/crisis as it can happen to anyone. May God bless your family during this difficult time and surround you in His love and peace.

I am very sorry for your loss. My grandfather recently passed, and I know that the pain of losing a loved one can feel unbearable. Something that helped me personally was this thought from the Bible at John 5:28,29 “Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out.” I hope that this brings you some small amount of comfort during this difficult time.

Dear Tom, Joanne and Danny,
I worked with Tom at Co-op for the past 4 years, and seldom have I come across a person with so many gifts. He was funny, warm, brilliant and kind, and had an amazing way of translating 'computer-speak' into language that those of us on the Admin team could understand! And those twinkling blue eyes, always holding a smile in them. He never laughed at my many questions, though, but simply answered them clearly and concisely. I liked and admired him so much, and I'm deeply sorry for your loss. I'm praying for you all, and will never forget your wonderful son.

I'm very sorry and deeply saddened to hear of Tom's passing. We were in the same fraternity at Widener. I'd like to pass along the condolences of every member of our Chapter. I wish I had stayed in touch with Tom after graduation. He truly was an amazing young man that would do anything for anyone, and do it with a smile on his face. Rest in Peace, Tall Tom.
