Friedel Ludvig Rosenquist

Friedel Ludvig Rosenquist known as "Captain Catfish" 71, of Telford died February 9, 2017 at Quakertown Center. Born in Abington, PA he was the son of the late Viktor & Siri Lovisa (Lindberg) Rosenquist. He was a gardener for Temple Ambler Campus before retiring. He was an active member and speaker for AA. He was a railroad enthusiast. He also enjoyed nature, boating on Lake Nockamixon, and he enjoyed building fish ponds for people. Friedel enjoyed classical music and the opera. He also enjoyed his cats. He is survived by a brother Carl Rosenquist and his wife Robin, two sisters Solveig Boericke and her husband James, and Inga Synnestvedt and her husband Hans. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Services will be held on April 23, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. in The Lords New Church 1725 Huntingdon Road Huntingdon Valley, PA 19006, with special music preceding the service. The C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc. (www.crstrunk.com) 821 W. Broad St. Quakertown, PA 18951 is handling the arrangements.
