Donald F. Szlachta, 60 of Quakertown died Friday November 16, 2007 in Gnaden Huetten Memorial Hospital, Lehighton. He was employed by Leeds & Northrup in North Wales before his retirement. Born in Philadelphia he was the son of the late Henry and Frances (Kurys) Szlachta. Donald was a member of the NRA. He also enjoyed and had a fond appreciation of Folk Music. He is survived by his children Chris and his wife Pauline of Center Valley, Jennifer wife of Walter Bevilacqua of Jim Thorpe and Benjamin and his wife Kristin of Albrightsville. A brother Richard and his wife Fran of Wyndmoor and a sister Lorraine wife of Frank Buck of Warminster. Five grandchildren and one due in April. A sister in law Janet of Southampton. He was predeceased by a brother Dennis. Memorial services will be held on Tuesday November 20, at 12:00 p.m. in the C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc. (www.crstrunk.com) 821 W. Broad St. Quakertown, PA 18951. Calling hours will be held Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
