D. Joyce Vey Albeser, 87 of Pennsburg formerly of Levittown died Saturday November 3, 2007 in her home. She was the wife of John F. Albeser and the late John A. Vey. Born in Blue Bell she was the daughter of the late Cresson and Dorothy (Metz) Zimmerman. Before her retirement she was the Executive Secretary for the Bucks County Republican Committee serving for over 20 years. She was also active with the Republican Party serving as Committee Women. Joyce enjoyed traveling throughout the US and abroad. She also enjoyed gardening and was an avid Philadelphia sports fan. In addition to her husband she is survived by two sons J. Chris Vey and his wife Delia and Jeffrey A. Vey and his wife Linda, both of Milford Township. A brother Robert Zimmerman of Conshohocken and a sister Betty Collier of Ft. Myers, FL. Five grandchildren Greg, Keith, Carla, Jessica and Julia. She was predeceased by three sisters and a brother. Services will be held on Wednesday November 7, at 11:00 a.m. in the C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc. (www.crstrunk.com) 821 W. Broad St. Quakertown, PA 18951. Call on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home.
