James Francis Giltrap, III , 66, passed on October 17, 2007 in his home.
Jim was born and reared in Center City Philadelphia. Appointed an Official Court Stenographer in 1962, he spent 45
years in court reporting. He had been trained by his parents, who preceded him in death, James F. , Jr., and Marian E. who
were also Official Court Stenographers in Philadelphia. He later worked in the Allentown, Bethlehem, Easton areas, both
freelancing and as an Official Stenographer. He was ordained a deacon for the Diocese of Allentown and served the people
of St. Joseph's Parish in Limeport for twelve years.
Left to cherish his memory are his dear wife, Rose Marie, beloved step children, Kayla Patenaude and her husband Rick
of Henniker, NH, and Ian Fisher and his wife Mauzi, of Rome, Italy, and his sisters, Chrissy and her husband Michael of
Orofino, Idaho and Mary Patricia and her husband Frank of Avalon, New Jersey. He is also survived by five beautiful
grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and many people that he loved and tried to help throughout his life.
A viewing will be held on Saturday, October 20, 2007, from 8:30-9:45 A.M. at St. Joseph's Church in Limeport,
followed by a funeral mass at 10:00 A.M. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to the
