Joseph P. Monaghan, 79, of Green Lane formerly of Trevose died Wednesday, October 20 in Genesis ElderCare Quakertown Center. He was the husband of Dolores (Ellison) Monaghan. Born in Germantown he was the son of the late Joseph Patrick & Eva (Brendlinger) Monaghan. In addition to his wife he is survived by a daughter Alice wife of John Cicatiello of Colmar. Two brothers William of Churchville & Hugh of Trevose. Two sisters Eva Kladky of Newportville & Betty Loy of Factoryville. 1 grandchild Amy and her husband Rob of Green Lane and 2 great grandchildren Meghan & Katelyn. He was predeceased by a brother Jim. Services will be held on Monday, October 25 at 11:00 A.M. at the C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc. 821 W. Broad St. Quakertown. Call Monday 9:30-11:00 A.M. in the funeral home.
