James J. STOTZ

James J. Stotz, 83, of Point Pleasant died August 12, 2017 in his home surrounded by his family. He was the husband of Marion E. (Maisenhelder) Stotz. They were married 64 years last February. Born in Philadelphia he was the son of the late James F. & Frieda (Ostry) Stotz. He then grew up on Twin Willows Farm in Buckingham. He retired in 1972 after serving 22 years with the U. S. Navy. He was also a Veteran of the Korean War & Vietnam War. He worked for Automotive Cosmetics in Doylestown, AEL in Montgomeryville, Central Bucks School District, and the New Hope Police Department. He was a graduate of Buckingham High School, Bucks County Community College and Del Val College. He was Assistant Scout Master of Sea Scouts of Pt. Pleasant, and a member of the Boy Scouts of America. James was a Free Mason with the Doylestown Lodge, a member of the Shriners of LuLu Shrine, and PA State Fencibles. He was also the constable of Point Pleasant voting polls and volunteered with Point Pleasant Ambulance. James was also well known for playing Santa Claus for 45 years. He was a member of Lahaska Methodist Church. In addition to his wife he is survived by five children Dawn Dorn (William Sr.), Peter (April), Kenneth (Janice), Deborah Strong-Booz (Dean) and Catherine Coulter (Russell). Eleven grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren. Predeceased by a brother Robert F. Memorial services will be held at later date. Arrangements are in the care of the C. R.
