My most sincere and heartfelt condolences goes out to the Peiffer family as you go through this upsetting time. Jim was always a role model to me, and I remember all the times that I would talk to him after church. He always had good stories to tell me about things he had done, and I loved hearing him talk about his time in the Marines. I remember right before I left to go to Parris Island to become a Marine myself, he handed me this book. It wasnt an ordinary book but a really big book with a complete history of the Marine Corps. He looked at me and said to me " Read this because this is going to be your history some day." I still enjoy reading that book from time to time when I come home. When I came home a Marine Jim and i talked for a good hour or so about how things went and i never felt more proud to talk to such a good man. he will be greatly missed by me, but I will also never forget what he has done for me.

Semper Fidelis

Sincerely,
Lance Corporal Kale J. Donnelly

Our prayers go out to you and your family at this time of sorrow. Jim has always been and will continue to be an inspiration in my life a I will sorely miss him. We know that he is in a much much better place and that we too will meet him again someday. May God give you the peace that only He can give to comfort you. When I think of fellow Brothers and Sisters who have moved on I go to Psalm 23 at the end where we have that assurance in verse 6 "Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever." May it comfort you as well to know that others care... and if we can help you in any way, Please don't hesitate to ask. With Sympathies, Keith and Hope Donnelly
